A former Navy Seal once told me that they specialize in "being experts at becoming experts." Those words have always stuck in my head as a reminder that with the right mindset and drive, you can become successful at anything given focus and drive.
I have worked in crew leading/management roles for the past 15 years both in construction and private protective services. On the construction side I have overseen some of the largest development projects since the recession in high profile retail and lifestyle centers across the country. On the security side working with nationally known entertainment venues, managing large capacity operations, and VIP services for entertainment and executive clientele. Possessing a diverse leadership background with a highly motivated and detail oriented skill set is what makes the difference between average success and excellence.
I started the company after working with one of the premier construction management consulting firms in the country for over 5 years. I realized quickly that an emphasis placed on finding ways to save the owner money throughout the development/construction process was missing. Too often efforts to reduce costs ended once something was "in the budget", but it was clear to me that almost 80% of the time there were more savings to be had. We look to manage spending as if it were our own money, making our primary objective to not only pay for our own services but show savings beyond - making Tier 1 an investment not an expense!
